Preventive Behavioral Health Programs

HealthCheck 20/20 Preventive Behavioral Health Programs promote early recognition of conditions and effective management of existing conditions. Each Preventive Behavioral Health Program consists of educational material that is provided to members at scheduled frequencies.

Four cost-effective, comprehensive, turnkey HealthCheck 20/20 Preventive Behavioral Health Programs are available for immediate implementation. Each Preventive Behavioral Health Program has been successfully through NCQA accreditation. The following Preventive Behavioral Health Programs are available for immediate implementation:

  • Improving Treatment Compliance for Adults with Depression, written at reading levels appropriate for both the commercial and public sector populations;
  • Parenting Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, written at reading levels appropriate for commercial and public sector populations;
  • Early Identification of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder;
  • Early Recognition of Post-Partum Depression.

Each Preventive Behavioral Health Program contains all the components necessary to implement and evaluate the program. TMG will provide, as appropriate:

  • A comprehensive program description,
  • Detailed information for providers,
  • Text for promotional pieces to be disseminated to members,
  • Text for a letter to be sent to at-risk members,
  • A program evaluation instrument,
  • A spreadsheet for entering survey responses and calculating ratings, and
  • Thorough instructions on how to implement the program.

The Preventive Behavioral Health Program have two management options. The Mihalik Group can manage the entire program, including preparing and distributing member mailings, notifying providers, administering the program evaluation instrument and preparing quarterly reports describing program outcomes. Or, for those organizations that prefer to manage their programs internally, TMG can provide the tools to do it effectively and efficiently.
